With the drylin econ series, igus defines the low-cost, maintenance-free entry-level models of linear axes. There are suitable econ entry-level models in almost every product line and size. Whether with lead screw or toothed belt drive, the econ series is characterised by cost-effective components manufactured using injection moulding, anodised aluminium profiles and fast assembly. The linear axes are configured and supplied ready for installation according to customer requirements, making them the perfect alternative to complex customised solutions for simple adjustment tasks.

The central components of the econ series are grey (WWP) linear carriages made from igus high-performance polymers and are extremely lightweight. All econ linear plain bearings and linear carriages are 100% lubrication and maintenance-free and are manufactured cost-effectively using the igus injection moulding process.
