Corrugated tube and accessories

Safe, robust and flexible

Corrugated tubes are flexible protective hoses that are used to protect and organise cables against mechanical damage, abrasion, contamination and environmental influences such as moisture, UV radiation and chemicals. Thanks to their ribbed or corrugated surface, corrugated tubes are extremely flexible but at the same time very strong. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, fibre optics, solar systems and robotics applications with high speeds and millions of alternating bending cycles. Corrugated tubes extend the service life of your cables and increase the safety of your electronics.

Types of corrugated tubes

There are many types of corrugated tubes that have been specially developed for different requirements and areas of application. From simple PVC hoses to highly specialised, halogen-free or chemical-resistant versions, these cable protection solutions cover a wide range of applications. The right choice of corrugated tube ensures a long service life, reliable cable protection and easy installation. Here is an overview of the most important types of corrugated tube:

Corrugated plastic tubes

Plastic corrugated tubes are the most commonly used protective hoses, as they are flexible, lightweight and cost-effective. Materials: PA (polyamide), PP (polypropylene) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride).

Corrugated metal tubes

Corrugated metal tubes are made of materials such as aluminium, steel or stainless steel and are extremely robust and resistant to mechanical and thermal loads.

Halogen-free corrugated tubes

Halogen-free corrugated tubes are specially designed for safety-critical applications. They do not develop any toxic or corrosive gases in the event of a fire, making them ideal for use in public buildings, railways or aeroplanes.

UV-resistant corrugated tubes

UV-resistant corrugated tubes are specially designed for outdoor use and have been developed to withstand long-term exposure to UV radiation.

Slotted corrugated tubes

Slotted corrugated tubes have an opening on the long side, making it easy to insert cables without having to remove or open the tube first.

Chemical-resistant corrugated tubes

Chemical-resistant corrugated tubes are often used in industrial areas where aggressive substances such as oils, fuels or cleaning agents are present.

Corrugated tubes suitable for cleanrooms

The cleanroom-compatible corrugated tube e-skin supplies systems with data, media and energy without unwanted particles contaminating the air.

PMA corrugated tube

A PMA corrugated tube is a highly flexible cable protection hose that is especially suitable for the additional protection of cable guides in energy chains. By combining technical expertise and the strictest international safety guidelines, PMA fulfils the global industrial market requirements in a wide range of applications.

PMAFLEX corrugated tube

The corrugated tube "PMAFLEX" comprises various tube types for a wide range of applications in the field of cable protection. The PMAFLEX line offers tubes for technically demanding applications with special requirements. Pipe sizes are available from 4.5mm to 125mm diameter in versions from very light to very heavy and bendable to highly flexible. Standard colours are black and grey. Many tube types are specially tested or approved in accordance with CSA, UL Recognition, NF, SNCF, DB, etc.
