The xiros pillow block units from igus are not only up to 60% lighter than metal ones but are also up to 40% more cost-effective. They allow lubrication-free, low-friction operation with a high standard of hygiene. Resistance to corrosion and various media is a further advantage of polymer pillow block bearing units. In addition to the fixed versions, pivoting pillow block units that compensate for misalignment are available.
