More fun in the sun! With our ESQM 2.0, we take our tried-and-tested pillow block bearing for tracking solar modules to the next level, making it even more robust, more compact and easier to install:

  • Three times the UV resistance thanks to optimised housing and spherical ball material
  • 20mm lower installation height due to the sheet metal extender crossbar on the upper part of the housing
  • Recesses for guiding cables along the profile
  • Easier assembly due to U-alignment of the spherical ball and pins on the lower housing, which prevent the bearing from slipping

Solar pillow block bearings convince in the lab test

In the company's own 3,800m2 igus test laboratory, the service life, wear resistance and load capacity of igubal pillow block bearings for solar modules were examined under real loads of the daily motion sequence, simulated in a time-lapse.

The number of movements achieved under a load of 1.5 tons corresponded to a service life of 72 years.
