Overview

Our modular rotary and linear bearing technology can be installed in any beverage bottling line, regardless of whether it is a partially or fully automated system. The top priority for these components is that they are easy to clean, do not require lubricants and fulfil high service life requirements.

Products used and application examples

The following shows the main areas of application for our linear and plain bearing technology in filling systems. These are used in a wide variety of sections, e.g. in the clamping star for holding the bottles or in the filling and dosing station.

Clamp star

iglidur ® J or iglidur ® X plain bearings are used for the bearing of the clamp elements. Two-component rollers made of an iglidur® plastic roller and a TPU outer jacket ensure the smooth and wear-free movement on the rotary axis.

Filling and dosing station

The bottles are lifted at the valves and pumps of the filling and dosing stations via drylin® T-rail guides. In the cam-guided lifting element for the bottles, plain bearings made of iglidur® J, drylin® JUM films or iglidur ® H plain bearings are also used.

For the pivoting movement in the pinion bearing, iglidur ® J guide rings are used, which are more wear-resistant than PTFE belts and have a high load-bearing capacity. A drylin® R JUM linear bearing is used for the cam-guided linear movement.

Bearings made of the material iglidur ® J or iglidur ® H370 guide ring are used for the linear movement of the control valves in the bottling plant.

KHS relies on particularly hygienic special bearings for the linear stroke in the capping units of a PET bottle filling line.

Clamping wheel

The MultiGuide Base from Krones eliminates the need to change the clothing. Clamps and rollers are special parts, while the plain bearings are made of iglidur® X.

The compact filling system "InnoPET TriBlock" from KHS works with our plain, linear, ball bearings and linear tables.
