Hygienic and maintenance-free linear modules in beverage control equipment

Indspect GmbH specialises in the beverage industry and supplies control devices for industrial inspection processes according to customer-specific requirements. The focus here is on the user-friendliness of the measuring systems. Even with complex measuring procedures, every user should be able to operate the system after a short briefing. Indspect's devices consist of a camera system with corresponding sensors and have proven themselves on the market. One focus here is on the variety of types: labels, closures and their colour tones, fill level, bottle shapes, defects in the glass and other technical production processes are checked.
The various adjustments to the systems require Indspect to use high-quality inspection systems, in which only components of the highest quality are used. As the highest safety standards apply in the food and beverage industry to protect consumers, designers need products that do not require external lubrication.
In addition, there is a desire for resistance to chemicals and corrosion, freedom from maintenance and low moisture absorption.

In the case of linear systems, we are already a long-standing partner of Indspect. The linear modules used drylin® SHT offer corrosion and chemical resistance as well as freedom from maintenance. They are easy to clean and have low moisture absorption. They are also lightweight and require no additional lubrication. The spindle linear units are recommended for aggressive environments. A stainless steel version with corrosion-resistant steel components fulfils the highest demands of the food industry.
The manufacturer was already familiar with the products from previous co-operations. They fulfil all hygiene requirements and minimise the ageing process. This enables customers to use them for many years.
The camera and lighting are also used for the adjustments in the Indspect devices. Almost from the beginning, drylin® SHT was used here. A corresponding energy chain was added somewhat later. It secures the cable and thus the operation of larger systems in which many cameras are working. The easy chain® energy chain from the E14 series is quick and easy to fill in the outer radius. A push button principle holds the chain link securely together. A small pitch ensures quiet, smooth running.
To date, there have been no known complaints about the systems; the system is only returned to the manufacturer if something is modified or a part is added. Maintenance work is also not necessary thanks to the lubricant-free nature of the linear systems. As a result, the high expectations of the food industry with regard to the linear systems have been met right from the start. This also applies when entire units - such as linear tables - are on the order form. Extensive assembly work is completely eliminated.
