Solution

Fast cycles, dusty environments and limited space put a strain on the cables and hoses. We have therefore introduced igus energy chains in several machine families. This has increased system stability and significantly reduced maintenance times.

A total of four energy chains move along the X, Y and Z axes of the palletiser.

The advantage: The energy chains allow the palletiser to move quickly along the axes and provide a high level of stability even over long travels.

In the bagging systems, on the other hand, energy chains were required that not only work reliably under high cycles and fast movements ...

... but which also function trouble-free even with the high dust load that occurs when filling the products.

MF TECNO also relies on igus energy chains in other packaging machines, for example in wrap-around cartoning machines.

The focus here was on energy chains that enable reliable cable guidance even in tight installation spaces and with tight bend radii.
