They are designed for the overhead movement of loads within a building, e.g. in production and assembly halls: Overhead cranes. Permanently connected to the building, they allow three directions of movement, which is exactly what the cable, hose and energy supply must be able to do. Low downtimes, low maintenance requirements and the functional safety of the system are desirable from an economic point of view, but also in terms of occupational safety. Due to the individual building conditions and areas of application, overhead cranes are usually customised products, from the crane runway to the energy supply.
