Around the world, machines of all kinds are now used in a global economy. At igus, we have therefore been ensuring that products are manufactured in compliance with the relevant standards for many years.

Regarding our chainflex cables, we place special emphasis on fulfilling all guidelines and approval requirements of the most important international standards. This means that you will find the right cable for almost any global requirement: chainflex - at home in the world!

Even if there is no clear answer to the question of what the most important approval is, a few specific features, especially geographical ones, should be kept in mind. In Europe, machines may only be placed on the market if they have a valid CE mark. For international export, fulfilling the UL guidelines or complying with EAC/CTP plays an important role.

Various customers have additional guidelines that enable us to offer specific solutions for a wide range of industries. The semiconductor industry often requires IPA cleanroom approvals while sea applications need DNV certification. DESINA specifications also often play a major role.
