Dear customers, dear partners and dear igus friends,


Since 1983, I have been Vice President and CEO at igus. For personal reasons, particularly in connection with the health of my family, I am no longer able to perform my management duties on a full-time basis.

The conversion to an SE & Co. KG opens up new opportunities for us to successfully distribute roles: the management will take over the operational business, while I, as Chairman of the Board, will continue to help shape the strategic direction of the company. Together, we will work on innovations and services that create real customer value and promote sustainable growth.

Artur Peplinski, responsible for igus International and the Low Cost Automation product division, will also take on the role of management spokesperson and represent igus in cross-company matters in future. Michael Blass and Tobias Vogel will remain your trusted contacts for the e-chain systems and drytech product divisions. Thilo Schultes is responsible for production (operations) worldwide.

With the change of name, we are increasing our liability capital from €5 to 20 million. Our investments in research and development related to motion plastics, in new factories and in digitalisation will be further expanded and accelerated.

I would like to thank you sincerely for your many years of loyalty and your valuable input. I will continue to be available to you in future and will respond to your concerns as quickly as usual. We kindly ask you to adapt your systems to the new legal form of igus SE & Co. KG. Tax number, VAT ID number, and bank details do not need to be changed.

We are in the midst of one of the biggest changes - perhaps even a global boom - because everything is changing simultaneously and at a rapid pace. Our goal is to support you in working with us to stay at the forefront of this development.
