Maximum service life with axial loads
In addition to the thrust bearings without cage with rings already available in the standard range, igus is now launching a variant with cage. This offers an improved service life at moderate loads and higher speeds. The following installation sizes will be available as standard: 51100 and 51104.
Tech up:
- Less wear at higher speeds compared to the standard without cage
Cost down:
- Cage increases service life, which reduces maintenance costs
Proof:
- Test parameters in the igus laboratory: 100 N, 500 rpm, 120,000 cycles: thrust bearings with cage exhibit 60% less weight wear than thrust bearings without cage
Sustainability:
- No environmental pollution due to lubrication-free components
